Creativity Has Shaped Every Chapter of My Life.

Creativity has never been just something I do—it has been the thread connecting every chapter of my life. From filling school notebooks with drawings to studying commercial art, designing brands, building businesses, leading teams, and creating artwork for products around the world, the medium has changed, but the purpose has remained the same.

I believe thoughtful design has the power to communicate, inspire, and create meaningful connections. Whether I'm developing artwork for licensing, building a visual identity, designing a website, or collaborating on a new product, my goal is always the same: create work that is both beautiful and purposeful.

The Thread That Connects Everything

After high school I studied Graphic Design & Commercial Art, where I learned traditional illustration techniques including hand-rendered color separations, hatch work, stippling, pencil rendering, composition, typography, and visual communication. Long before digital tools existed, those fundamentals taught me that every line should have intention and every design should communicate clearly.

Since then, creativity has taken many different forms. I've worked as a freelance graphic designer, designed communications for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, built websites from hand-coded HTML to modern Webflow CMS platforms, developed marketing and lead generation systems, launched businesses, led teams, created brands, and designed spaces for hundreds of homeowners.

Looking back, I see one continuous journey where creativity and innovation has been leading the way. Every experience has deepened my understanding of people, communication, design, and the creative process itself. Today those experiences come together through Flowstate Designs, where art, design, strategy, and business thinking meet.

Structure Creates Freedom

Across every kind of work I’ve taken on—designing mandalas, building businesses, creating websites, or leading teams—I’ve found that the strongest ideas usually begin with a clear framework. Structure creates direction, reduces unnecessary friction, and creates opportunity for exploration.

That is one reason I continue returning to mandalas. Their symmetry and repetition quiet the mind and give me a place to begin without overthinking. Within that structure, unexpected ideas can emerge naturally.

The same principle shapes every creative project I take on: establish a thoughtful foundation, then leave enough freedom for discovery.

WORKING TOGETHER

What It's Like To Work With Me

The projects I'm most proud of aren't defined only by the finished result—they're defined by the relationships built throughout the process. Clients consistently describe my approach as collaborative, thoughtful, organized, and dependable. I believe the best creative work happens when ideas are explored together, communication remains open, expectations are clear, and every detail is treated with care.

Whether I'm developing licensed artwork, designing a brand identity, creating a website, or contributing to a larger creative initiative, I approach each project with the same mindset: listen first, understand the objective, explore possibilities, and create something that serves both the client and the audience. I treat every project as if it were my own because I know it represents something important to the people behind it.
